SAAB 9 Throttle Repair Kit

Specification:

  • Print parts from PA6, PA12, taking into account the degree of shrinkage of plastic

  • A plug-in nut M3 (the nut needs to be heated, then inserted)

  • Screw M3*20

The procedure for disassembly and installation of the throttle repair kit

  1. Remove the flap lobe by unscrewing 2 screws

  2. Remove the throttle axis

  3. incise the arc-shaped gear with a thin disc for Angle Metal Cutting Grinder or dremel hand machine in the places as in photo 1

  4. Mark the cut places with a marker (in the future, the half gear will need to be installed according to these labels)

  5. Cut off the M3 screw head

  6. Melt the nut bolt into the half gear

  7. Screw in the screw by placing it on the thread lock

  8. Press the half gear according to the marks marked in advance

  9. Install the spring in the throttle body as in photo 7

  10. Press the shaft with a new half gear into the throttle body

  11. Install the throttle lobe in place (the screws should be smeared with a thread retainer)

  12. Install the reduction gear printed in advance

  13. Assemble the throttle valve by installing the sensor cover
