Display Stand for Transformers SS86 Swoop 3D print model

With the final member of the SS86 dinobots upon us, we figured that a custom flight stand would be the best way to get him displayed in his alt mode in flight!

Sporting a base inspired by the dinobot's logo, this stand is beefy enough to hold up our latest bot - Swoop!

The base piece can either be simply painted up, like we did here, or be 3d printed in two different colors for a cleaner look.

Though the original though was to just have the stand peg into the 3mm port in his alt mode's belly, that seemed a little to weak and shallow to robustly do the trick. Hence, we've instead designed a much more solid U-Clip piece to snugly hold Swoop up.

As an option, we've also included a U Clip piece which can attach onto an existing display stand's 3mm peg if you prefer to go that route.

Functionally, it will hold Swoop up in much the same way for your display needs.

The attached diagram shows the various pieces for this build and how they are to be assembled.

Do note that you will need these following M3 fasteners (pretty common parts for FDM printers) to make for a stand which can hold the weight of a bot:

M3 x 10 bolts X 2

M3 X 14 bolt x 1

M3 Hex Nut X 3

And there we go - a dinobot-themed stand for the final member of this motley crew to join in with the rest of them!
