D20 of Destiny from Netflix Transformers WFC Siege 3D print model

Well then, kind of finished all the episodes from the much awaited Netflix Transformers - War for Cybertron:Siege. And boy, what a ride! To be able to see maybe characters of yore, as well as some more modern ones, back duking it out on Cybertron was such a stroke of nostalgia!

With that, it was only natural that some of the awesome stuff shown in the show deserve to make their physical manifestation in our world too.

Now, mindful that it's only been a short time since the show was launched (and hearing that it is delayed in some regions), thought it would be good to keep things a little spoiler-free by letting it have another name first for at least a couple of weeks while everyone gets the chance to watch it all. Hence the somewhat strange code-naming for now! :)

So coming to this artefact itself, this was modelled in 40mm scale to start with but was then down-scaled to around 25mm as that seemed like a fair mid-point between being the right scale and still allowing the details a chance to show up. All the photos show it in 25mm.

Incidentally, with hands which can open, Earthrise Optimus Prime can actually hold this more naturally.

As a very quick draft print to see how this would scale up to life-sized, here's what the same model would look like when upscaled to 80mm! Would be a nice hand-sized piece.
