My latest project, a reinterpretation of this kinetic sculpture: (youtube.com/watch?v=J3qVvb6TYuU)Instead of using a motor with an integrated RPM reducer + transmission belt, a series of gears are employed to reduce RPM (down to approximately 30 RPM), along with a standard 3V motor powered by two 1.5-volt batteries.The 3D model was created using Rhino 5.The print was made using a Zortrax M300 + ABS and HIPS.
