Comissioned by Ryan Wilkins and published with his permissionA sword and sheath based on the ones used by Toudou Kirin from the anime The Asterisk War - I'm not too familiar with the source material but I collected enough source material and references and worked together with the customer to make it as detailed and accurate as possible. The download contains several versions, whole sword and sheath and split up into several easy to print and assemble pieces fitting together in a puzzle system as well as versions with a different blade profile and different sheath tips. The sword is about 1.1 meters long and both are split into 5 pieces to fit into a regular printer. Each have holes for two support rods with 4mm diameter and bent in a 6000mm radius, 1042mm long for the blade, 676mm long for the sheath. If you do not have bending tools most metal rods at this diameter and radius can be roughly prebent by hand and take form when lined up into the blade pieces.When printing this file and especially when using steel support rods please inform yourself about your local laws about weapons and weapon replicas as well as regulations at any event you plan to attend.
