New design of digital multimeter. Dimension of the multimeter without including the protective silicon jacket: 120*70*70 mm. The multimeter has flashlight capability and NCV capability and can also measure the voltages, current, resistance, etc. Dimension of LCD: 40*20mm. The back of the silicon jacket mould includes design features such as Hanger to hang the multimeter and Probe holders to hold the probes. The Rigid case and silicon jacket can be manufactured using 3D printing or injection moulding. Battery cover and provision to place 2 1.5V AAA Batteries is provided on the back body of the multimeter. A stand to position the digital multimeter on a flat surface is also provided on the backside. PCB design is not included in the design but the space required to incorporate a PCB is considered while designing the multimeter.
