Real size: length: 47cm x width: 32.5cm x heigth: 11.5cm . Thickness of the acrylic sheet: 3mm
The real tray is made of a single piece of acrylic shaped using a laser cutter. The final form is done using a acrylic bender table turning the sides up or down according to the design. This kind of trays are oftenly used in presentations and show cases showing the brand on the verical side (omitted in this model to avoid copyright issues). It can be produced not only in clear cristal acrylic but also in colored acrylic sheets. The height is enough to hold 10oz to 12oz plastic cups avoiding to touch the table. So when the tray is on the table, the cups are still hold by the tray.
This acrylic tray is modeled in 3ds Max and rendered using VRay 3.20 (with VRay materials - not included). The model in the files includes only one cup (as seen in the wireframe images). For rendering purposes, the cup was cloned into three more instances.
It is built in using metric units and keeping real size dimensions. It is also centered in the world coordinate. The whole model is separated in layers and grouped by elements. This allows to move them to adjust them to future posing and use in many environments (like dining rooms, as part of showcase stands, interior scenes, etc.)
This model has only quads and supports further subdivision. Materials used are included in the file. It does not include camera, lights or any other object.
