The material given is a procedural one created in blender which uses the UV mapping to map the material onto the object. This means that the wood texture can easily be manipulated when opening the file in blender and then exported into wherever you need to use it. The material is created using a distorted noise texture, color mapping, and a bump map to create artificial shadows.
