Olsen is marked by the lifted seat and curved lines: the emptyspace below the seat enhances the sense of lightness, while all hardstructures - armrests, seatback section and upper profile, feet -are rounded. The look is completed by the addition of verticaland horizontal stitchings on the seatback cushion: if upholsteredwith a canneté fabric (like Colville, Jackson, Jaipur or Orlando, forexample) every section delimited by the stitchings will feature adifferent orientation of the lines, to create a sort of extra-largecheckerboard effect.
