Saisen Shrine Piggy Banks are used to store savings, and the idea behind this design came from Japanese citizens visiting temples to make wishes. The idea behind this technique is that in order for a Japanese person to make a wish, they must toss coins into the Saisen rather than deposit money in. Therefore, I adopted the same idea that anybody may use this model to insert coins and grant their wishes, just as people use their money to purchase the things they desire.
