IKEA SIGNUM Cable Management 3D model

This model was measured using a vernier caliper to ensure accuracy down to the millimeter and includes details such as threading for screws. The blender file for the SIGNUM Cable Management rack is made available in two (2) versions:

• Type 01 is found in the collection named SIGNUM Cable Management Rack. This type collapses all subdivision surfaces and converts all curves into polygon mesh objects so the model can be optimised to have lower vertex, edge and polygon counts. The 3D model found in this collection is the recommended polygon amount based on what was measured but can be further reduced by disolving more edges depending on your project's requirements.

• Type 02 is found in the collection named SIGNUM Cable Management Rack Control. This type maintains the bezier curves used to create the rack so it can be adjusted to easily create warped and damaged versions of the rack.

The only texture file created for this model is a normal map used on Cylinder.005 and Cylinder.008 in the SIGNUM Cable Management Rack collection and on Cylinder.013 and Cylinder.016 in the SIGNUM Cable Management Control collection. The rest of the model has clean solid colour surfaces so this was procedurally generated using the Blender 3D application.
