Description

Brandless Grand Piano based on Steinway's Model D.

All non-wireframe images are rendered in UE4

Modeled to scale and Optimized for use as the main piece of a real-time scene. Primarly made for arch viz in Unreal Engine 4, but may be used with any PBR renderer.

The Mesh is triangulated and edges are split.

The UVs are tightly optimized, overlapping only on repeating geometries.

The Textures are 2048x2048 png

The Rig only covers the non-playable aspect of the piano (Keys, Hammers, Action and Pedals are not rigged)

The Animations are simple 1 frame poses.

Zip file includes .uasset for UE 4.20 and up (drag and drop in your project's content folder, instantly ready for use)

The UE4 implementation allows you to easily:

  • Change the Pose of the piano and seat
  • Change their colors
  • Enable a secondary color for the seat
  • Toggle visibility of seat and music rack

A basic Blender file is provided for creation of additional animations or rendering in Cycles.
