The designer couple Charles and Ray Eames were interested in extraordinary obects, shapes and colours with which they decorated their famous Eames House.. The Eames House Whale is a detailed replica of such an object: the two-meter-long wooden whale was even allowed to pose at the first photo shoot of the lounge chair. Today it is manufactured by Vitra on a smaller scale, if with the full charm of the original.
