The design draws a strong inspiration from Nordic aesthetics, boasting minimalist vibes. The hangers are constructed from beech wood materials, where the grain of the wood and its directional change resemble a simplistic, yet captivating, visual effect.

Cámara and Ibáñez chose to construct the 89 Wall Hangers with beech wood mostly because of its capability of being manipulated in shape. This allows for the hooks to take on a twist-shaped design, while still maintaining its strong and sturdy structure when finished. The 89 hooks are functional and decorative pieces that can adorn any wall either on its own or in a group.
