I say that design is the search for perfection translated into form. - Achille CastigllioniThe original Taraxacum pendant lights were designed by Achille Castiglioni and his brother Piercomo for Flos in the 1960s. The series made use of innovative resin spinning techniques to create a futuristic yet organic form.This version, the Taraxacum 88 ceiling and wall light was designed in the late 1980s and reverts to the most simplistic of geometric arrangements. A series of triangles are linked to create a support for a series of globe bulbs. The result is a timeless design that celebrates pure form and light itself.
