The wavy lampshade was the result of a successful lockdown experiment. In 2020, Eleanor Cording-Booth of A Considered Space and Alex John of Munro and Kerr first collaborated to create their now-recognisable wavy lampshade, handmade by Alex in her London studio.

The design was an instant sell-out and they were described as “the cult lampshade” by British Vogue. The wavy lampshade has also featured in esteemed publications such as House & Garden, The Telegraph, Homes & Gardens, Red, Collagerie, ELLE Decoration and more.

The wavy lampshade is now available in two different sizes and multiple colourways, but the exceptional attention to detail remains and they are still handmade by Alex to this day.
