Designed and made by Alison Berger

The Bloom collection is influenced by the life cycle of a flower and its anatomy. Delicately held within a bronze armature, each piece is comprised of a singular solid, glass blown form containing the illumination. The light is surrounded and protected by wheel engraved clear and acid etched glass panels that suggest the petal’s veining. The combination of materials creates an x-ray like quality when illuminated, and the form appears to weightlessly hover as it transforms from day to night.
