There are three bonus materials included in the Material Editor (Cherry, Magenta and Crystal) in addition to the default Amber material for the crystals. To use them, open the Material Editor, select 'Crystal - Chrome Multi' Multi/Sub-Object material and drag and drop the material you want to use on top of the Amber (VRayMtl) as shown on the preview images.
If you want to change the strength of the emitted light, it will be best to modify the V-RayLights inside the light-bulbs. They are instanced, so you just need to change one of them.
