Made of hand-blown opalescent glass that has been given a satin finish, the cone-shaped shade provides warm, ambient illumination.
One of Tapio Wirkkala’s first lighting fixture designs, “Triennale” was first displayed at the Milan Triennale in 1951."
Designer: Jørn Utzon, 1948
From the manufacturer: Combining a lacquered steel shade with a white, chrome, or brass plated collar, this distinctive pendant light casts a gentle, diffuse illumination when in use. Providing both direct and indirect light, Pendant Light U336 was created by the Danish architect Jørn Utzon in 1948, who would go on to become famous for designing the Sydney Opera House.
Designer: Juha Leiviskä, 1969
From the manufacturer: Finding beauty in simplicity, architect Juha Leiviskä used lightweight white aluminium to create this generous ceiling light.
