Description

Model of 1950s Diner Counters (Modular)

-About the model:

  • This model is made for archviz and renders.
  • Model was made using Blender3D modeling software.
  • Textures were made using Substance Painter texturing software.
  • This model is built using real world scale.

-Model contents:

  • 3 Native .blend files with no modifiers, base mesh only.
  • 3 OBJ files with no modifiers, base mesh only.
  • 3 FBX files with no modifiers, base mesh only.
  • ID maps for the materials are in .zip archive.
  • All texture folders in .zip archive.

-Model structure:

  • Model is consisted of 20 objects in the 1950s Diner Counter (Counters and Cupboards separated) version, named logically to correspond with the objects function/look.
  • In all versions named 1950s Diner Counter (Counters and Cupboards separated), as the name suggestsmeshes have been divided into counter and cupboard pieces, doors joined into cupboards.
  • In all versions named 1950s Diner Counter (Joined), each corresponding mesh piece of cupboard and counter parts have been joined into a single object, for easier manipulation.
  • In all versions named 1950s Diner Counter (Counters, Cupboards and doors separated) each mesh piece is its own object, doors are parented to the corresponding cupboard piece, named logically and pivotpoint set to its rotation point (hinge).

-Mesh information:

  • Quad topology only, no N-gons or triangles
  • Mesh is (subdivision-ready, animation-ready)
  • Base meshes combined have 33532 quads (67064 triangles)and 33576 vertices.

-Material information:

  • Model has 2 materials named Counter_mat, and Cupboard_mat.
  • Both materials have 5 texture maps: base color, ambient occlusion, metalness, roughness and normal.
  • All textures are in .png format.
  • Textures come in 1k, 2k, 4k resolutions.
  • No shaders are used in this model, only textures which should be placed in their corresponding places (.blend native files have textures already packed and placed in their slots, no need to do extra work if using blender).

-UV maps information:

  • Manually placed seams, conformal unwrap.
  • UVs have no overlaping mostly, only corner pieces that were mirrored overlap.

-Intended use for the model:

  • The model is designed for renders and archviz specifically
  • The model can be used for games that have realtime rendering engines such as Unity and Unreal, depending on poly count.
  • The model can be used for Virtual Reality and/or Agumented Reality, depending on requirements.

-Preview renders info:

  • Images shown in the preview are done with the base mesh and subdivision modifiers.
  • Model is rendered in blender 2.91 with Cycles rendering engine, each image is marked in the bottom right corner with the name of the rendering engine, mesh type and modifiers used.
  • The results you get may be different depending on lighting and rendering engine you use.
  • Lighting was done using an HDRI which is NOT included with the model, you get a clean scene with no lights, planes or cameras.
