SEAMOOR's prototype came with very simplified shapes: straight legs, round arms. We spent days shaping curves with a rasp. Our chairs are often strong, with unusual proportions. With SEAMOOR we wanted to contribute a chair to the history of chair: the form is completely invented, but the execution is in a Scandinavian vernacular tradition, with seagrass from ecologically conserved meadows.

We like to drape SEAMOOR with a cozy sheep’s pelt for warmth and added comfort.
