Description

Fly armchair | Designer: Pepe Lima

The Fly Armchair, unlike most creations, was not born from a source of inspiration; it is the result of studies on deconstructivist compositions with the aim of creating a product with disconnected elements but which could still result in a harmonious and desirable object. The focus was to use the organized-chaos with a continuity of rays between the edges, to soften the discontinuity and give the impression of something exploded but that fit perfectly.

In its design, the game of layers was extensively explored, where the armchair seems to wear woody armor while its interior maintains the sophistication of leather and fabric.

Its entire structure was carefully designed and developed to be as invisible as possible, making its parts seem to float around the armchair, which gave the piece the name Poltrona Fly.
