Designed by Norman Cherner in 1958, the Cherner Side Chair is artfully constructed with laminated plywood of thicknesses that range in depth from 5 ply to 15 ply at its slender waist, the Cherner Side Chair is iconic for its dramatic sculptural form and exceptional structural strength. The Cherner Side Chair has an overall height of 31.5” (80 cm), width of 18.5" (47 cm), and depth of 21.5” (55 cm). The seat height of the Cherner Side Chair is set at 18” (46 cm).
