During my design studies, I've seen the rocking chair hasn't evolved a lot. In most cases, when we have many rocking chairs, they become quickly cumbersome. Also, this kind of chair with their design is always linked to the relaxation and nothing else. So in this model, I decided to combine many characteristics, as funny as it's practical, with always a simple use.

I designed this rocking chair to be made easily by anyone in a fablab, and to be used both inside and outside. It is robust, stackable and the simple assembly just needs wood glue. We can enjoy in two positions: the regular one, and in reverse sens as you are riding a wooden horse. The rocking's curve was studied to give to this chair a very low center of gravity. The goal is to avoid any kind of fall and thus develop a confidence with the user. This rocking chair, for its simple design and its ludic aspect, will be quickly appreciated by adults and children as well.
