Typical ancient Greek Throne: type used as throne of king Kroisos (Croesus, extra-rich king of Lydia [c. 585-c. 546 BC]), as from ancient representations.

The throne is in 3 different types [= 6 different models], according to the Ancient Greek sources available:Throne A: based on real extant Ancient Greek marble thrones;Throne B: based on real extant Ancient Greek marble thrones and Ancient Greek pottery;Throne C: based on Ancient Greek pottery representations.

Probably Throne A is the version, the nearest to real Ancient Greek Thrones; while Throne C may be a pottery painting distortion of perspective, in an Egyptian manner.

Real extant marble thrones have also a backrest, that evidently in pottery painting is not.As from Kroisos/Croesus pottery representation, the throne was made of wood (not marble), since it is positioned on the stake to be burnt.
