ISOLA | Armchair By AMURACollectionIsolaTypeLeather armchair with armrestsMaterialsLeatherDesignersLucy KurreinProduct codeAM 109 007Isola is a statement-making, design-led collection consisting of a sofa, armchair and matching ottomans.‎ The range was created in collaboration between Amura, London-based designer Lucy Kurrein and Heal’s; one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious furniture retailers.‎ Lucy was briefed by Heal’s to create a beautifully rounded sofa and so found inspiration in natural landscapes such as solitary floating islands, hence the name.‎ The sweeping lines and elegant silhouette are reminiscent of the large stretches of sand you can find on a deserted beach.‎ The voluptuous, sculptural form of Isola has a natural affinity with the body, and its organic form sits beautifully in large and small spaces.‎ The Isola range uses a mixture of different foam fillings, including a luxury memory foam, offering supreme comfort and support.‎ The backrest features subtle seam detailing to emphasize its curvaceous silhouette and its generous seat is supported by refined metal legs in gun metal black.‎ The small and large ottoman echoes the shape of the armchair and sofa creating a beautiful synergy between the pieces.‎
