With its strong forms and gentle, sinuous sense of movement, Wave offers a renewed, more conscious emphasis on the ritual of homecoming. Its modest function as an addition to furniture is refined and transformed into a welcoming element, suitable for decorating even the most sophisticated interior. Micro architecture, created using simple, flowing forms, is created using solid natural copper that plays with curves, solids and voids. A vertical wave-shaped wall of perforated copper gives lightness to the volume and adds sophistication to the sculptural form, accompanying those entering; the waveform emphasizes the presence of the pocket-empty plate, inviting us to empty our pockets when we return home. The top surface provides ample space to sit down and take off clothes, while the base provides storage for bags and shoes.
