Description

Description General This is a 3d model of a illicium verum, aka star anise. It was scanned and prepared for photorealistic renderings, close-ups, stills and animation. The star anise model is ready to be inserted in your scene out of the box.

Meshes The staranise model is presented as single mesh in 3 subdivision levels: low, mid and high. Meshes are quad based. The polycounts are: 787K ans 394K . High detail model included in .max format.

Materials .max 2022 files come with v-ray 5 shaders. Other versions have basic materials, so you will need to adjust them in connection with your particular software/render engine.

Textures 3 maps are supplied with this model. Textures supplied are in JPG format and are in 2K, 4K and 8K resolution. The texture maps include diffuse, ambient occlusion and normal. The staranise model is uvw unwrapped. 16K diffuse included.

Formats The original file was prepared in 3ds Max 2022 with V-Ray 5 materials. You will receive a MAX file(2022). If you need any other format please contact me.

Information All preview images were rendered with V-Ray Renderer. You will get only the staranise and not the scenes used for the preview renders. Please also take into consideration that the preview images are the result of the post-production and the look of star anise 3d model in your scene may differ due to the specific settings of your own scene. Product is ready to render out-of-the-box. Please note that the lights, cameras, and any background not described above objects are not included in the product. The model is clean and alone in the provided files, centred at origin and has real-world scale.
