Portable Steel Drink Bottle - Orange 3D model

What is the product I am selling

This product is a simple but handy steel bottle that can be used either as a background prop or a prop used by a character.

This water bottle model is based on a real life version, using realistic dimensions as materials that are as close as possible to the materials used in the making of the bottle.

The model itself is created in Blender 4.1 using real world geometry such as a modified cylinder for the bottle and its lid. The model itself is in three separate pieces, the main bottle itself, the lid and a plastic protector, located at the bottom of the lid, unseen when the lid is on, but can be seen when it's off. The Lid is parented to the bottle and the protector is parented to the lid, so any movement of the bottle can be easily achieved.

While this product is blue in colour, others colors can be bought separately, as separate files, or be brought as one 8 colour package (see Portable Steel Drink Bottle - All ). These colours included:

Why did I do this model

After a number of complex models (more to come soon), I understand the need to go back to basics, and you can't get any more basic than this portable Steel Drink bottle, especially after a quick search, this style of bottle isn't available yet. This drink bottle style is simple and stylistic and be suited to any scene, be that small or large, whether it's in the background or a major part of the scene.

When evaluating this project, I saw an opportunity to do colours then just having the original colour of Blue. Having 8 options, allows for clients like yourself, to have more choice then just one colour that you may not like. Now you can choose the colour you need for your project.

How the file works

Within the downloadable folder/s, I have included two different blender files. One of these files (Orange_Steel_Drink_Bottle_Procedural) all the textures/materials are included, using a wide variety of procedural nodes. Meaning you can modify any of these nodes, to suit your own preferred taste/style specific to your own project needs. This Blender file will suit any level of experience as the node layout is quite simple and easy to follow.

However, for those who want the ease and comfort of downloading the file without worrying about making changes, all the textures are baked as .png files. This can be found under the Blender File (Orange_Steel_Drink_Bottle_Baked_Materials). To use correctly just download the texture ZIP file, (included within are separate material/texture folders with the names closely matching to the different objects within the blender/other file).
