Bacio Perugina is a chocolate with an irregular and rounded shape, filled with gianduia, chopped hazelnuts and covered in dark chocolate. It is produced by Perugina in Perugia.
The presentation and packaging of the bonbon are the work of Federico Seneca, artistic director of Perugina in the twenties, who, reworking the representation of Francesco Hayez's painting The Kiss, created the typical blue box with the image of two lovers. It was always his idea to include the scrolls containing the love phrases that still characterize the historic chocolate today
