Description

Game ready, low poly model of an old, rusty Soviet-era RKU-01 street lamp (Rus. РКУ-01), commonly found in former Warsaw Pact nations.

Download contains:

  • Low poly game mesh (1494 tris)
  • High poly baking mesh (5396 tris)
  • Collision mesh (234 tris, 5 convex subparts)
  • 4K PBR texture maps (Albedo, Normal, Roughness, Metalness, AO, Emissive)
  • 4K Baked mesh maps (Tangent normals, World normals, Curvature, Position, AO)

Low and high poly meshes are non-triangulated. Meshes provided in FBX and OBJ format. Textures in PNG format.

The emissive texture only affects the bulb itself and not the inside of the light well, partially to grant more control over the appearance of the lighting, and partially because I couldn't get very good results baking the light cast from the bulb emissive. However I've found that a small, bright, non-shadowed point light placed inside the bulb geometry, in combination with a typical downward facing spotlight, looks just as good, which can be seen in the three game preview images.
