**Angel Falls**, also known as Kerepakupai Vená or Parakupá Vená, is the world's highest uninterrupted waterfall with a height of 979 meters. It is located in Canaima National Park in the far east of Venezuela, near the border with Guyana and Brazil. It has been known as Angel Falls since the mid-20th century, named after US aviator Jimmie Angel who was the first person to fly over the falls. Let's go there!
