Description

This open-pit mine it's a very interesting and versatile geological man made strucuture. Depending on render settings, it's very easy to recreate different atmospheres such as frozen , desert or alien world station. Developed from sat imagery, the model is georeferenced in UTM coordinates and it was generated at full scale with controlled precision to ensure proportions integrity. This means that it can also be used for analytical purposes (linear and volumetric measurments, profiles and cross/sections, spatial analysis, check DEM thumbnail). Metric system. Approximated area 102ha/251ac. Native format (.obj) with base texture (.mtl) and (.png unwraped) included. I set up some basic lights and rendering settings just to showcase the model and this file it's also inlcuded on model package (.blend). The (.obj) file will show up at its original UTM coordinates. The rendered model was reduced to 0.1 of it's original size and brought close to origin. Please contact me for other formats or if you need a particular model like this for another specific location
