Important information regarding model and texture handling
When Importing models: When importing models into your workflow in 3Ds Max (or your preferred 3D modelling softwre), don't forget to set a smoothing modifier, to counteract the basic smoothing that 3Ds Max applies, otherwise the model will not work properly.
Importing textures: When importing the textures, dont forget to set the filtering to NONE, otherwise your textures will not work properly. (This is done to counteract the texture smoothing, which in this case of minecraft's low resolution textures will produce a smudgy mess instead of a clear texture.)
