A vast desert background with cactii, mountains, rocks, joshua trees, and tall irrigated rocks. All objects are grouped, so you can eliminate what you don't want, or simply duplicate what you would like more of. The polygon count is the average polygon count for each medium sized object in the scene. The smaller objects like the cactii and trees are made of far less polygons. All textures are included in a zip file. Though all the shaders are native to maya, you can use the textures as bump-map's to yield the effect you want for the different mountain and rock formations. The sun is included, as well as a sky dome to surround the background. All UV's on the models are unwrapped as well. I created this background for my animation and although the file size is large, since the polygon count per model is quite small it is a relatively easy render depending on what settings you use.
