The CN Television Tower (Canadian National Tower) is located in the centre of Toronto, Canada. It was completed in 1976 and until May 2009 it was the highest television tower in the world, with a height of 553 metres. The tower is near Lake Ontario, somewhat outside the city centre. The CN Tower is one of the city’s landmarks. This impressive construction is visited each year by approximately 2 million tourists.
