The Community Centre in Akluj, Maharashtra, India, is built on a small 560 sqm plot and includes retail spaces, a gymnasium, a dance studio, a restaurant, and an exhibition space. The design strategically places vertical circulation and services on the southern side to reduce heat gain, while the east and west sides are shielded with vertical fins for light filtration and heat mitigation. The rooftop of the center is landscaped with a café space, offering additional usable area within the site's constraints.
