This is a 32-bit floating point 360 degree HDR panoramic equirectangular image of a Downtown Los Angeles industrial alley that is covered in beautiful graffiti. Shot at 9am in the morning on a very cloudy day for flat strong ambient light with no hard shadows. This image can be used in any 3D package for Image Based Lighting IBL. The full range of light in this scene is contained in the HDR image and will be strong enough to illuminate your 3D scene and cast shadows. I shot this 8 level exposure wedge, with a range from 1/4th sec to 1/4000 in step size of 2 full EV’s. That gives a range of over 12 EV’s of light in this one exterior pano. Stop down the image in Nuke and check with the eyedropper to see the full range of pixel values in the double digits throughout the sky.
