SURVIVAL CAMPING GEAR

by Ufuk Orbey (shadedancer619) / Made in: Cinema4D R19

..........................................................................................................................

DESCRIPTION:

These nice looking high quality camping gear models is the last version of my survival tents collection and again very realistic one (like some of my previous models) in 3D world that shows details of a canvas survival tent which had still been used by people today.

There are double sided high poly fabrics and some objects similar to each other in scene which were increased the polygon count. But I think this is not an issue for new gaming engines (if not please inform me about this:)

The set includes 12 different models which are good for some survival events. You will like it:)

Please keep in mind, the Blender file is not a specific (native) one. I have just imported the FBX file and adjusted the material properties (specular, roughness etc.).

FILE FORMATS:

campset(SOURCE).C4D (R19) is the main all in one file for Cinema 4D users. No textures or objects were baked. This needs TEX folder for texturing.

campset(BAKED).C4D (R19) is the other all in one file for Cinema 4D users. Textures were baked in 4096px images except fabrics. This needs TEX folder for texturing.

campset.BLEND (v2.82A) is the all in one file for BLENDER users. Textures were baked in 4096px images except fabrics. This needs TEX folder for texturing.

12 separated OBJ/MTL files are in an archive file. Textures were baked in 4096px images except fabrics. This format needs TEX folder for materials.

12 separated FBX files (v7.5) are in an archive file. Textures were baked in 4096px images except fabrics. This format needs TEX folder for materials.

12 separated DAE files (v1.5) are in an archive file. Textures were baked in 4096px images except fabrics. This format needs TEX folder for materials.

..........................................................................................................................

RAR ARCHIVES:

TEX.RAR has 44 texture JPG images for all models.

campset(OBJ).RAR includes 12 OBJ/MTL format models.

campset(FBX).RAR includes 12 FBX format models.

campset(DAE).RAR includes 12 DAE format models.

..........................................................................................................................

TEXTURES:

Images are in 1024, 2048 and 4096 pixel sizes. All they are high quality JPG images. No PBRs.

Some textures images are only for C4D SOURCE file (fabrics are common for all formats) and some of them as UVW maps.

I'm NOT PERFECT:

Nobody does! I always try to do my best but sometimes unwanted mistakes can be happened unconsciously. If something happens please contact me ASAP for solving the problems immidiatelly.

I am writing this in particular because of some misunderstandings I lived before. Sometimes people prefer to make NEGATIVE RATINGS instead of calling and talking with modellers. If you are the one of them please do not buy this (:just kidding, I know you are a nice people)).

A little nice conversation is able to solve all problems in minutes. I know somehow :))

FBX
This FBX file has successfully passed the CGT Standard technical and visual checks. The verification results are detailed in the section below.
File & scene
Binary FBX
Binary FBX file is more compact and faster to load and process.

No unsupported objects
Unsupported objects:
- Lights
- Cameras
Learn more
Geometry
No N-gons
N-gons are polygons with five or more sides which might cause issues in certain processes like rendering or animation. Learn more
No faceted geometry
Faceted geometry uses flat surfaces without smoothing, which can look unrealistic on curves.
Learn more
Manifold geometry
Manifold geometry ensures all surfaces are properly connected, avoiding issues like edges shared by more than two faces.
Learn more
Textures & material
PBR textures
PBR textures simulate how light interacts with materials, making the model look realistic under different lighting.
Required PBR textures:
- Base Color
- Roughness
- Metalness
- Normal
Learn more
No embed textures
Embedded textures are stored inside the model file, increasing its size and sometimes causing compatibility issues.
Learn more
Square textures
Texture aspect ratio is the width-to-height ratio of a texture. Expected texture aspect ratio: 1:1
Learn more
Power of 2 texture sizes
Textures with dimensions in power of two (e.g. 512x512px, 1024x1024px) are used to optimize performance and memory usage.
Learn more
Assigned materials
Materials are applied to the 3D model to allow visualize a model's surface properties and appearance.
Learn more
UVs & naming
No UV overlaps
UVs overlap when multiple points on the 3D model's surface are mapped to the same point on the UV island causing texture stretching.
Learn more
UV unwrapped model
A UV unwrapped model means its 3D surface is flattened into 2D space, allowing textures to be applied accurately.
