Description

This model is based on an actual siheyuan or courtyard house in Beijing, China. The architect is Wang Ta-Chun of Matsuoka Wang Architects. A few changes her and there, but basically the same house. For those of you who subscribe to the mag, it was the May 2009 issue, which was when I made the model. The article has floor plans and pictures of the house. It is a traditional courtyard house in China. I give all my old mags to the Senior Centre here, so I do not have this issue any more. Major change is the elevations - I gave them a medevial look since the article only has interior and courtyard views. Rest of the interior remains mostly as published in the article. The article is Reflections of China. Bob
