DESCRIPTION

The honai house or onai house is the traditional house of the Papuan people of the Mountains and Central Papua, especially the Dani tribe.

The honai house is a simple round shape with a small door and no windows.

Apart from functioning as a residence, honai houses have several functions and philosophies of their own. First, the honai house functions as a place to store war equipment and ancestral heritage equipment.
