Very well done, exactly what I needed for my medieval World in "Knights Path"!
Low-poly historical reconstruction of a shelf for bee skeps for traditional bee keeping. A skep is a domed basket to house honey bees. European beekeepers switched from hollowed out logs to straw skeps around 800 AD. It’s made from all natural material like straw or hay bundles that are wrapped around a hollow dome. These bundles are stitched together with blackberry cane, which was split in half first. A slit of about 15 cm enables bees to enter and exit the structure. The rack has a shingle roof to protect the hives against the weather.
