Chichen Itza Rebuilt Landscape and 3D Printable

Chichen Itza Rebuilt Landscape and 3D Printable 3D model

Description

Please read description carefully and check all thumbnails before buy.The mighty Mayan pyramid presented at full scale, right proportions and rebuilt as it would probably looked in its early construction years. The model was developed from imagery, some parts were remodeled, some were sculpted. Finally the model was remeshed to a regular grid and a stone texture was applied. Dimensions are approximately: length 73 meters, width 70 meters, height 31 meters (monument height 6 meters). The model is standing close to coordinates origin and main entrance is facing north, while in real monument main entrance is facing N-NE. Package includes: blender scene (.blend) with realistic textures, environment sky, lights and a low resolution terrain to extend horizon; pyramid 3D printable model with no texture, regular mesh grid 0.05 meters resolution (.stl); pyramid model in (.obj+mtl+png) and (.fbx). Both (.obj) and (.fbx) includes pyramid baked texture at 8K resolution generated from blender original scene. Some thumbnails in blue and red will give you information about “normals” orientation. Two human figures were added to help with scale perception and these are not included. Check “Kaneflame3D” work if you need to use those, package is available for download. I would be glad to answer any questions about the model or to help you if you need a similar model for a different monument.

Hi salvadorvacationclub, The model is at full scale, right proportions and it was mostly built from drone imagery. Upper tomb/building had to be rebuild using several sources for accurate dimensions otherwise inner space would result in a big mess. After that I performed some remeshing and applied the rock texture. About geoplacement, I can manage to place it with real UTM coordinates but these are usually very large integers and it does ruin render quality. Nonetheless, I can provide a blender file with real building orientation, just closer to XYZ origin to avoid shader glitches. About equinox shadow, it's quite possible. Model has to be rotated 20deg clockwise (as real alignment) and llight source must be moved around to get intended shadow

hello, is this created out of a 3d scan? and if you have the real geometric position, is it possible that this model recreates the shadows on the stairs similar to the effect of the kukulkan serpent shadow that happens on the real pyramid of chichen itza?
