Wroclaw is a city in western Poland on the Oder River. It is known for its Market Square with ornate houses and a modern fountain. Here you can also see the Gothic town hall with a large astronomical clock. Not far from it is the Racławice Panorama museum with a huge painting depicting an episode of the national liberation uprising of 1794. On the other side of the river is the Centenary Hall sports and entertainment complex with a giant dome and a tall spire.
