San Antonio is a large city with a rich colonial history located in the south of Texas. In San Antonio, the buildings of the Spanish Alamo Mission, built in the 18th century, have been preserved. Now they house a museum dedicated to the famous 1836 battle for the independence of Texas from Mexico. Along the San Antonio River stretches a pedestrian promenade with numerous cafes and restaurants. On the territory of the HemisFair park is the Tower of the Americas, about 230 meters high, overlooking the city.
