Pittsburgh is a city in western Pennsylvania at the confluence of three rivers. During the Gilded Age and at the beginning of the 20th century, Pittsburgh was considered the industrial capital of the United States. It was then that the Carnegie Museum of Natural History, the Carnegie Museum of Art, the Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens were founded. On the north shore are the modern Andy Warhol Museum, the Heinz Field football stadium and the PNC Park baseball arena.
