Interlaken is an old spa town in the Bernese Oberland region in central Switzerland. It is located in a narrow valley between the emerald lakes Thun and Brienz. In the city, you can admire centuries-old wooden houses and visit the park that stretches on both sides of the Aare River. Interlaken is surrounded by high mountains covered with dense forests, alpine meadows and glaciers. There are numerous hiking trails and ski slopes in the mountains.
