Ingolstadt is a city in Germany, in the state of Bavaria on the Danube River. The population is about 132,000 inhabitants. The second largest city in Upper Bavaria after Munich. The sixth largest city in Bavaria after Munich, Nuremberg, Augsburg, Würzburg and Regensburg. In 1989, the population of the city reached 100,000 inhabitants.
