Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam. The city is known for its ancient architecture and rich culture with South Asian, Chinese and French influences. The chaotic Old Quarter in the heart of the city consists of many narrow streets. Each of them is intended for trade in a certain type of goods. There are many small temples in Hanoi, such as Bat Ma, built in honor of the legendary horse. Dong Xuan Market sells household items and tastes street food.
