Ashgabat is the capital of Turkmenistan, famous for its white marble buildings and grandiose monuments. In the northwestern part of the city rises the mosque of Turkmenbashi Rukhy with a huge golden dome. In the city center, you can see the Ertogrulgazy Mosque, modeled after the Blue Mosque in Istanbul. Another interesting building is the Wedding Palace Bagt Koshgi. His building, which consists of several levels in the form of stars, is crowned with a golden ball. Samples of traditional weaving are presented at the Turkmen Carpet Museum
